ABOUT MY RESCUE SHELTER PARTNERSHIP PROGRAM
At Alpine K9 Training Centre, I provide rescue dog training in Portage la Prairie focused on helping dogs build confidence, structure, and real-world skills that support successful adoption outcomes.
This program is part of a shelter dog training initiative in Manitoba designed for local rescue organizations and shelters who want additional support preparing dogs for their next chapter.
Each month, one dog currently in rescue care is selected for a complimentary leash training for rescue dogs session, focused on calm structure, engagement, and confidence building.
This is not just basic handling. It is dog behaviour training Manitoba designed to support dogs who may struggle with overstimulation, uncertainty, or lack of previous structure.
